A precision rifle show produced from taking the advice of hundreds of athletes, an event that seeks to create the ultimate competitive environment, a competition that is the complete precision shooting experience.

THE PRECISION MASTER: UNRIVALLED

All events are two-day multi-stage events putting athletes through a series of stages designed to test your skills in real life scenarios.

The Precision Master has a small physical fitness element, it is not strenuous but is designed to raise the stress levels, have athletes shooting after climbing stairs, ladders, obstacles and, at times, crawling to optimal shooting positions.

Raised heart rates, breathing techniques, sweaty palms, correcting mis-reads and ranging skills all form part of true marksmanship and all form part of the ultimate challenge to become The Precision Master.

THE RULES

ROAD TO THE GRAND FINALE

The African Precision Master 2025 will be crowned at the The Grand Finale staged during The Tactical Nation Championship Week from 09-12 October 2025 at Marloo Shooting Range in Gauteng, South Africa.

QUALIFY FOR THE GRAND FINALE

This is an invitational event at no charge to the Athletes. Each Division will have an 18 Athlete Field that will be selected as follows:

The 6 Regional Show Winners

The winners of each regional show will be automatically entered, if any multiple winners exist then the next best placed finisher will be entered.

The 8 Wildcards

These will be selected from the next best ranked athletes across the league table that have not already been selected due to winning a Regional Show.

The Four Special Entries

These are reserved and will be used for special qualifying events staged under the same conditions and standards athletes will come to expect from The Tactical Nation.

CROWNING THE PRECISION MASTER

THE SEASONS BEST ON DISPLAY

The Grand Finale is meant to be a showcase of the years best performing athletes. The African Precision Master title will be decided by a league table which will allocate points according to finish in all the regional events and The Grand Finale.

The Grand Finale points will count as double the points of any Regional Event.

ONE CAVEAT...

The only curve ball to the above is the following:

ANY of the top five athletes in the league table can be crowned The African Precision Master by taking the win in The Grand Finale.
